This section allows the user to view logs for oil and gas wells.

Search Well Logs

This form allows users to search for, view, and download scanned
logs for Utah wells. Currently there are approximately 11,000
logs from about 5,000 wells available for viewing.

These logs were scanned and made available to the state of Utah
through a generous donation by A2D Technologies. A2D and the
Utah Geological Survey continue to scan the remainder of our
paper logs. These images will periodically be added here to our web
collection. Individual logs may be downloaded from our site, but in
an effort to avoid competing with A2D, we do not offer batch
downloads of multiple logs.

Original paper logs are also available for viewing at the Division of
Oil, Gas and Mining and Utah Geological Survey offices in Salt Lake
