to the new oil and gas web site of the Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining.

Below is a listing of some of the changes this new site brings to you:

  A new Data Research Center has been added to help focus your attempts to find information. It includes permit information, drilling data, production volumes, a place to download 'raw' database files, and other general resources.

  The old "Well Data Search" application has been renamed and remodeled. The new Live Data program still contains the old search options you're used to, but also contains such features as searches for permitting, spudding, and completion information, production volumes by field, county, and operator, and a stripper well listing.

  A Notices page has been added where you can quickly find important oil and gas related announcements or directives coming from the Division of Oil, Gas and Mining.

  A new program ("Utah ePermit") has been added for filing Applications for Permit to Drill (APDs) via the internet.

  A Site Map has been added to help you locate what you need.

  Scanned images of Board Well Spacing Orders are now available.

   There may be a few things from the old web site that you can't find. Maybe this will help:

  • The Database Download Files have been moved to the Data Research Center.
  • The eReport login (electronic production reporting) is now located under the Electronic Reporting page.
  • The Map Search application has been moved to the Data Research Center (General Resources).
  • The Monthly List of Wells Permitted and the Approved Applications for Permit to Drill (Excel) list files have been replaced by an APD Search option in the LiveData program that allows you to search for permits by approval period, county, operator, etc., and then export your own custom lists.
  • The Wells Spudded (Excel) list files have been replaced by a Spud Search option in the LiveData program that allows you to search for spudded wells by spud date, county, operator, etc., and then export your own custom lists.
  • The Monthly Completion Reports Received and the Drilling Wells Completed (Excel) list files have been replaced by a Wells Completed Search option in the LiveData program that allows you to search for wells by completion date, county, operator, etc., and then export your own custom lists.
  • The List of Drilling Permit Expiration Dates has been replaced by an Expiration Date Search option in the LiveData program that allows you to search permits by operator, API number, date approved, etc., and then export your own custom lists.
  • The Active Operator list has been moved to the Data Research Center (General Resources).
  • The Waste Disposal Facility list has been moved to the Data Research Center (General Resources).
  • The Well Status & Well Type Codes list has been moved to the Data Research Center (General Resources). API County codes have been added.
