Files (database tables) Available for Download: |
File Description |
Approximate File Size (KB) |
This download center offers users the ability to download
"raw" data from the division's databases. This option is intended
for serious researchers who desire to compile information for large portions
of the state. Full utilization requires understanding of database file manipulation, table linking, and query writing. Data is updated nightly.
FILE DOWNLOAD
Download each file to a Windows folder where you can locate it again. The files are in database "dbf" format and are compressed within 'self-extracting' zip (.exe) files for faster downloading. Double clicking on each downloaded 'exe' file will usually begin the extraction process. The resulting dbf files can then be opened in a database program such as Microsoft Access. Opening the larger files in a spreadsheet program (such as Microsoft Excel) will result in data loss. Please read the File Descriptions to better understand what you are downloading. |
